Lasertec Corporation was started by the founder, Mr.Yasushi Uchiyama, as a company for X-ray TV development in 1960. Since that time, Lasertec has been creating a wide variety of inspection and measurement systems consistently for 40 years, under the philosophy “Create what does not exist in the world and what is beneficial to the world” as the basis of the corporate management.
The technologies and systems of Lasertec are utilized for betterment and improvement of production efficiency for semiconductor devices such as Flash Memory or LCD panels for thin-shaped TV, and are contributing to the establishment of prosperous lives of people around the world through household Electronic appliances that are the end products that utilize those electronic devices and display panels.
“Let's develop one new product every year, a new product first in the world!”, this development spirit and daily efforts continuously upheld since the foundation of Lasertec have come to fruition into semiconductor mask blanks inspection systems and LCD large size mask inspection systems that are highly acclaimed as
a de facto standard in the industry, for example.
