Lasertec has commercialized a new product series [RAGNAS*] that enables repair of TFT/Color Filter for LCD Display Panel with higher accuracy and high-speed.

Description
In accordance with usage of larger size mother glass for LCD production, pursuit for higher performance of repair systems for TFT array and color filter is stronger than ever before. Under such circumstances, Lasertec now places a new product series [RAGNAS] on the market, which is a successor series of the TFT and color filter repair system [RL/CR] series that has been enjoying the No.1 position of shipment result in the industry.
The most remarkable feature of this new series is that the configuration of the system can be freely selected by customer's own choice from the view point of the best compatibility with customer's already existing inspection lines.
Features
- Stage: In addition to the conventional quasi-transmissive stage, a newly developed genuinely transmissive REAL stage (Repair & Analyzing system with Lightening tube and synchronous sweeping support pin assisted stage) is developed.
- Height measurement: High-speed height measurement unit (AMP-S) that drastically shortens conventionally available tact time is employed.
- Laser repair: In addition to the standard 355/532 nm wavelengths, the 266/532 nm wavelengths are added.
- Tape grinding unit: The running cost of tape grinding has become half the conventional running cost based on the development of tape reverse mode.
- Color repair unit by ink: Accurate and high-speed color repair is possible by utilization of a newly developed [Octo-RESNEE (Reservoir and Needle)] head. (Two types of repair area are selectable.)
- Dry film repair unit: Grade up of the well acclaimed conventional dry film repair unit (CR-IC) aimed solely for BM repair
