Description

A phenomenon of formation of a new wave when multiple waves are superposed. If the crest of a wave meets the crest of another, the amplitude of the resulting wave is the sum of individual amplitudes. If the crest of a wave meets the trough of another, the amplitude of the resulting wave is equal to the difference of individual amplitudes.
